This was the second time that we had crossed the Tropic of Capricorn line during our tour of Namibia. There is nothing but the sign at the side of the road, but it does mark a significant point on the globe of planet earth

I noted it as we passed and only later realised its significance. I should have stopped for a selfie.... then again, maybe not!

Nothing here but a sign, but how often do you cross this imaginary line? Lots of selfies and group pictures later we were back on the dusty road.

We have just returned from travelling in Namibia and drove along the C14 to Walvis Bay. The sign just isn't there !!!! We met up with other couples in Swakopmund who travelled the C14 abd they didn't see it either!!

What is there to say, it's a sign at the side of the road, spoilt by lots of graffiti and stickers. A quick photo stop.

Stop here if it is only a photo call. One only has to pull off the main road out of Windhoek to see this sign

You are driving down the road and not many vehicles and then you see the road widen and lots of cars parked up. Everyone was having a selfie photo opportunity. We didnt but if it floats your boat do it.

Stopped for a quick photo. Loved the stickers as make the signs unique instead of just a dull road sign. Just South America left now.
