QUAINT LITTLE BUILDING OFFERING TEA , coffee & various snacks / ice creams, i had a pasty for luch , tasty & not too expensive.

The building used to house the 5 HP pump which powered the adjacent 'Inclined Plane' now sadly dismantled. The museum has great photographs and diagrams explaining how the 'Inclined Plane' worked. A marvel of Victoria Engineering. The museum is run by the Inclined Plane Trust...More

The museum has improved enormously since our last visit. It is much brighter, has more interesting articles and interactive features fir everyone. The new exhibition space is a great idea and currently has an excellent photography exhibition!

Great explanation of canals and the inclined plane great for Children too, hope the site comes back into use again

Perfectly situated at the side pond of the spectacularly restored and now well used Foxton Locks “Staircase” . Well worth the entertaining visit

Interesting and dog friendly as well as s good place to bring children. It was interactive and had a small model of a boiler and a boat inside.

Some local history and such like worth a visit if you are going to the locks on a day out it just adds to the day.

Although this is only a small museum it is very informative and not a rip off lime other similar museums.
