We were looking for things to do in the area and Foxton Locks popped up on trip advisor. We were curious, so came to investigate.
It’s a fascinating place, full of history and great way to show engineering in action to the children.
Absolutely love going here, always fascinates us how the boats negotiate the locks. Plenty of places to eat; a sausage roll and cake in the cafe or a 3 course meal in the pub on the waterside, all have outside seating and are dog friendly....More
