My 15 yr old grandson was visiting from Knysna, so this seemed an ideal place to keep him entertained and to have some fun.
He loved it and the vibe was really good. Well run and the queue moved quickly.
My major complaint is that he had been to Jump 23 in Tableview the day before and had the special socks for which we paid R30. The website for RUSH prices the ticket R100 and then the addition of socks unless you have socks. When we got to the ticket counter the young lady informed us that we could not use the socks we had as they were from a COMPETITOR, and had to pay R30 for RUSH socks. I find that absolutely ridiculous and an absolute money making scheme. Surely RUSH you have enough business and there is enough to go around for everybody, why have that rule....you will always have competition, we live in a free enterprise society. I think it is incredibly small minded thinking..Btw...socks are exactly the same..........no difference.

We went for my daughters 11th birthday party and had a great time. The boys loved the dodge ball on the trampolines, and the girls really enjoyed the amazing facilities. It is very clean, well run with a good amount of supervision. Good coffee shop upstairs too.

An absolute pleasure! Kids love it and the parents have a comfortable spot ti wait while having a coffee and taking it easy. Have been here several times already and will be coming back again soon. The staff and facility are both excellent.

I had decided to take my kids out for a special evening of fun at Rush Claremont. Apon arriving everything was nice and pleasant at the front desk. Our evening started off nicely having fun jumping around when staff told me i was not to do front flips while looking at two other people doing the same thing and not repremanding them. When asking him why i could not do this after signing a waver and all his reply was not even xhosa or a language that is recognised as a language he replied in complete gibberish and when i told him i dont understand kept talking in gibberish louder and walked away ? this is unacceptable behaviour in my opinion when a paying customer is asking a perfectly valid question....On to problem two... M y daughter was throwing a tantrum right next to me and a staff member decided he was going to pick her up and start asking her questions (upsetting her more) when i asked him what he thought he was doing he told me she was lost and had no idea where her parents are which i found insulting and his lack of his surroundings is appalling. Lastly my son wanted to go on the ninja warrior course but was too small which i understand fully , however there where two other children at least a head smaller on the course at the time and upon inquiring why they where allowed but not my son. Again i was met with gibberish. Overall i found it to be a waste of money rude staff and a bad experience in general. Don't take your kids here rather go elsewhere.

I wouldn't recommend it for older teenagers/adults without children. The rules and surveillance are very restricting if you're an adult. The park is more suited for ages below 18, or where full supervision is needed.

In general its a fun place. But when I hurt my knee, there was no paramedic team to do any first aid, which is unacceptable for this kind of place with high accident risk. Very poor service. Will not go again and would not recommend to bring children.

We have taken our 7 year old son to Rush twice over the past 6 weeks for birthday parties and while the children and adults have lots of fun....just don't hurt yourself!

A few weeks ago, we went for the second time and the mother of the birthday boy decided to do her last somersault as the 1 hour session ended - into the square foam blocks and bam! She broke both her feet/ankles.

I was astounded at how quickly they made her fill out an incident report and waiver...while this poor woman was in agony, they focused more on her signing forms than her comfort.

All they could provide her with was a very small ice pack, which was very difficult to make flexible to fit around her foot/ankle...although she was complaining of pain in both feet, they only gave her 1 little ice bag.

She could not put weight on either of her feet but there was no wheel chair at hand, only a stretcher which makes you feel rather embarrassed and self conscious to be carried out on so my husband and one of the Rush employees carried her to the car....only after I ran around finding someone to help as the moment they made her sign the forms the staff vanished.

I found it worrying that no one checked under the foam blocks to see what she could have damaged her feet and ankles on....how often are those foam blocks lifted to check what is happening underneath?

This woman, ended up in hospital, flat on her back for more than a week and had surgery on the one foot which is now in plaster and the other foot is in a moonboot.
She is not able to put weight on either foot for 6 months.

This was an expensive accident and a very painful one as well....pieces of bone had actually fragmented off the foot and had to be removed.

So, yes, go and have fun at Rush, but be careful and don't be so quick to be forced into signing anything if you injure yourself...insist on checking maintenance on the bits you can't see...

Well maintained, but the online waiver form is a pain. R430 for 2 kids for 2 hours of jumping. Bit pricy in my opinion. Not something we will do again.

Warning! For those that are hosting a birthday party at Rush, be aware that they will oversell their socks irrespective of the number of kids that already have a pair and will not offer a refund, in direct contradiction to the Consumer Protection Act. The manager says that he does not have any discretion than to enforce a no returns and no refund policy despite goods not being used or even having left the premises. They advise to rather choke up the queues by purchasing the socks individually, which does not even make operational sense. The attitude smacks of predatory behaviour, beware act with care and if you have similarly being taken in, lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protector or go through the Small Claims Court.
Such a great pity as it had so much potential.

Well located and safe parking, a really large venue and well equipped. They have a special time in the morning just for toddlers which is great.
