Have never been to Hole Park, and shame on me for not doing so until now! Very warm welcome from the two gentlemen on the gate (one of whom was the owner, I think), but do remember to take cash with you for the entrance...More

I am so glad that you enjoyed your visit. I must have been one of the “gentlemen” that you met, as I am the owner! We do take credit cards but the mobile signal is not good so we do struggle. The card reader in...More

Sadly there were no concessions for disabled, carers or simply being old and little thought given to disabled parking. So all that is archaic and out of touch with the real world. Having said that the gardens were a joy and really are a must...More

A surprisingly large garden and woodland walk. It was very quiet when we arrived about 3 pm. We went straight to the stables tearoom and were not disappointed. Lovely homemade cake and scones. Opening was 11-5pm today, Wednesday but days they are open can vary...More

Dear Tangoj63 Thank you for your favourable review. I’m sorry about the confusion over when we are open. We open every day during the peak gardening months of April and May until mid June and then every Wednesday and Thursday plus Sundays in October, until...More

We found Hole Park after my husband cycled past one day. A really lovely garden and lovely staff. From the moment we purchased our ticket, to the lovely staff in the cafe. Loved the water Lilly pond in the millennium garden, the meadows with the...More

Visited the gardens late April to see the bluebells and wasn’t disappointed. Spectacular display of bluebells, rarely seen so many in one place. Rest of the gardens were lovely with the rhododendrons just about to flower too.

The gardens were interesting .....a mixture of formal and more informal areas, and woodland. The rhododendrons, azaleas and wisteria were at their best although were had missed the main bluebell display. If you follow the suggested route there is always something ahead to tease you........More

Our visit to the garden was mid May and happened to coincide with peak bloom for the dozens upon dozens of Rhododendron that grow at Hole Park, primarily by the area of the garden that is called the Dell, but also in the Woodland Garden,...More
