We were enchanted by the woodland walk as some of the rhododendrons were in full bloom but what fascinated me was the 3 bears carved out of a single tree! They are climbing up to enjoy a bit of honey they intend to steal from...More

Hole Park is absolutely fabulous! The vista from the front of the house - to the ‘keyhole’ directly in front and Rolvenden Windmill in the background, far left - is breathtaking, the grounds are amazing, the formal elements of the garden absolutely immaculate and the...More

Dear Fiona. Thank you for your kind review. My wife and I, with head Gardner Quentin Stark and Joy who heads The Coach House with her staff all worked tirelessly to make sure visits are appreciated so it’s so nice to get a good review.

We had the most fabulous, tour of the garden with head gardener Quintin. He knew everything and had a fantastic way of sharing his knowledge. The blue bells were extraordinary beautiful, as were the azaleas and rodo's. However, we were very disappointed with the very poor...More

Hole Park Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens/woods I ever visited. It is a great walk/hike and would advice every visitor to bring their wellies with them as it can get quite muddy. Perfect for toddlers too as we went with our two...More

Thank you for your kind words. Sorry about the mud which is rapidly improving as things dry out. We have also put down wood chip on the path through the bluebells which are coming out now. Please come again.

Nothing better to celebrate the turn of the seasons than a walk through the Bluebells then to enjoy an afternoon tea served my members of the family at this typical English country home estate.

This is an amazing and little known place to visit, and seems to be little known. Under the ownership of the Barham family 1911, this is a private residence. Beautiful walks all round, beautiful statues and extensive borders. Delicious homemade food (light lunches) available in...More
