Pretty gardens with unusual plants. Well maintained and cheap entry and very reasonably priced tea and cakes. Well looked after plants for sale. A real hidden gem. Handy for the Anglo Saxon village too.

We had a walk round, and found the gardens very interesting. Then had a cup of tea and and home made cake, it was a sunny day which helped the whole experience, as were the friendly staff who seemed genuinely pleased to see us.

Wheelchairs may be used in limited areas of the garden: you'll see a fair amount, but not the whole. And it would probably be better not to go after rain.
