Paradise for walking dogs. Car park supposedly minimum of £2.30, which is bad enough, but the clock on the only working ticket machine is 1h 20m slow, so it's only 40 mins - that's a rate of £3.45 an hour.

This is a wonderful place for a daily walk. In fact walk, run, cycle or horse riding. If riding ensure you have a Trots headband on as your expected to have this on display on Forestry land, and rightly so. The woods are a wonderful...More

Lovely location for an all year round dog walking experience. On site “pay & display” car park. Two marked walking routes with hard surfaces. Route signage a little confusing in one area. Toilets, picnic areas, lake and children’s play area. Safe and secure for dogs...More

To be honest lovely walks and woods, would have more visitors if a play area was set up one swing with all that space a little bit pathetic, and why charge for the car park not the best place to visit but still nice

We went here for a walk through the woods as staying nearby. Paid £3:50 for parking thinking we will be here for a little while. The walk was not that long ( we walked slow as we had a pram and a 3 year old)....More

If in Abbots Wood in Arlington the answer is yes. There are main tracks around the entire woods which are hardcore based, fit for vehicles. So on those you can all year. In summer you can even go on some of the muddy tracks... More
