Lovely gardens and wooded areas to wander through but it is just a shame that the Castle has not been utilised more in some way.

A great place to visit on a sunny day especially if you have children. The group ds are well kept and the whole estate is lovely, for those who moan about paying for parking..... get a grip!

We called here for a cafe stop whilst out on our bikes. The cafe and the castle were great and we would defiantly call again.

The cafe closes at 4:00pm during the week and 4:30 during the weekend - it may be open till 4:30 next Monday with it being the bank holiday
