- PaulSingapore, Singapore149 contributionsGreat night market in an old fashion payment way. This is a weekend night market, not only have food but also have other items for sale too. This night market do have quite a lots of art and crafts and clothing’s items to see among the bazaar stalls. But you have to buy their food coupons first in order to buy from the food stalls, which I think is a backward way to do business. You can exchange back the balance for cash but you are still killing the trees using this coupons way. Why can’t we use reusable cash card or use smart card QR code for payment? 🤔Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 December 2022
- Cederz242 contributionsA great upmarket market. This is a fabulous market. Everything is upmarket and a good variety. Food was an excellent selection too. I spent a few hours listening to the music. This is a must visit market in HuaHin. I think they only open Saturday and Sunday.Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 January 2023
- paul hTamworth, United Kingdom125 contributionsGood for a visitMainly food and a few arts and craft stalls . You need to buy tokens at the booths that are dotted around to buy food. We tried several dishes from a selection of sellers and they were all tasty. Good for a few hours if you are eating but not much else at the market apart from arts and crafts. Baht buses stop outside so it's easy to find. ThereVisited December 2022Written 10 January 2023
- UtepilVuorela, Finland384 contributionsMust see during weekendsWeekend entertainment. Music, shows, street food of all kind, small shops of crafts and local handicrafts, T-shirts, clothes and everything one can imagine. Couple of hours is easy to spend here in this lovely park.Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 January 2023
- mey27Potters Bar, United Kingdom459 contributionsBeautiful market lots to see and do a must visit when in Hua hin.Absolutely recommend this market. It is brilliant, lots of arts and crafts on show and offer. Right next door to Tamarind food market serving lots of different types of cuisine, including Thai. The kids will love it here. Highly recommend.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 January 2023
- panda p13 contributionsA tourist trap food but with surprisingly wonderful couple that sell wristbandIf I ever knew tamarind market is just beside cicada, I would never go there and eat. The food was 1/4 more expensive but taste not 1/4 better. I tried both Tom yum wanton soup and barbecued pork. It was the worst meal I ate in Thailand. The food was so below average. The only thing that scored this review was a nice couple that sold leather wrist band. They were sincere people who took pride in their work. after consulting them whether I could shower with the wrist band on they immediately said no. The shop not far away, on the contrast, said yes. Water should not be leathers best friend right? After I purchase a wrist band, the male owner took his time adjusting the circumference, and let me tried a few times until it was finally settled. The three stars are for them.Visited January 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 23 January 2023
- CynthiaIndiana42 contributionsSpend an evening people watchingThis is a great place to sit, have a drink, and people watch. It’s a very large market that combines food, drink, art, and music beautifully. It’s only open on weekends. It’s well designed and lit with thousands of white lights and filled with white tented vendors. There was no way to see all of it in just a few hours. Before you can buy any food or drink you must stop at the coupon booth because they only take coupons. If you buy too many you can return them for a refund up to an hour before closing. Very enjoyable evening.Visited January 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 25 January 2023
- Pabhawarin B1 contributionNice market you should visit once! When visiting Hua Hin, one of the tourist sites you shouldn't miss is this one. It may be found in Suan Si. A large garden that is shaded by tall trees close to Khao Takiab. This night market combines a variety of goods, including food, clothing, artwork, handicrafts, home decor, etc. I passed by this location while it was celebrating Songkran. It was great! I also watched magic shows and live musical acts. Every Friday through Sunday, Cicada Market is open from 4 pm to 11 pm. There is no entrance fee, therefore anyone can enter.Visited April 2022Travelled with familyWritten 29 January 2023
- CaliforniaChopsticks68 contributionsCute night market!Only open on weekends. The market is cute. Mostly vendors selling stuff. We enjoyed walking and shopping there. There are food vendors but we ended up walking over to Tamarind market with a wider food selection.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 February 2023
- Sopanut seansawang1 contributionChicada MarketI go to Cicada Market every time I go to HuaHin. This market is a busting market that is perfect to coming in group to hangout and relaxes. This market opens in the evening until late at night. This market has a lot of things for sale such as food and artwork. If you like art work, you shouldn’t miss this place. In the part of food, there is a wide variety of food to choose but they are quite expensive. There is sometime have a show, you can have dinner and chill while listening to music that play as a background. If you want to relax and chill, this is the place that you might want to go.Visited April 2022Written 19 February 2023

Probably our favourite market in Hua Hin. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Nice and spacious with plenty of spots to have a seat and take in the vibe. A bit more "upmarket" than the Hua Hin night market in town, and has more of a focus on stalls selling arts and crafts (paintings from local artists, jewellery, handicrafts, that sort of thing). There's also food stalls selling international fare; Thai, Korean BBQ, western etc as well as cold drinks. Very casual and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit.

The setting and location are within easy reach of downtown Hua Hin, standard selection of Tat and tourist items, some fake bags and watches around the centre of the market. Food as always excellent selection of traditional and western food, we can recommend the lobster and seafood omelette, opens about 6pm and goes on (weather dependent ) till around midnight. Be cautious!! don't carry much money, if you need mor there are ATM everywhere. Main thing is to haggle, haggle and then haggle. People are well mannered and polite. give it a go!!

It is a touristy market. Not too much you can't find at malls or at the night market. Food is pricey. Go to the Tamarind market instead. Some interesting art to see.

Our experience in Cicada was wonderful. It did rain quote a bit but we sat under the shaded area and ate some good Thai food. Then the rain stopped and we walked around. There was a local band playing foot tapping numbers. A magician performed for kids. Small stalls sold local craft. All in all a great experience.

We were in La Habana next door for 4 days .. this was an easy choice ..
First night we came as a couple .. explored the arts and crafts ... and ate some excellent street food..
BE CAREFUL .. the Thai concept of a little bit spicy 'Nik Noi' is different to everyone else.. Best ask for it on the side and use it as a dip.
There's a kiddies theatre at one end ..
Adults open air Jazz Bar at the other with live bands . .. Beers BHT 100, Cocktails BHT 200
Area for dancing and kids to play ...
I came back alone to chill on our last night 💯

A lovely market, felt quite up market for the tourists and price’s seemed to match this. Didn’t quite understand the need for the coupons as any stall we were at took cash. The music was lovely and a large variety of food stalls.

This small market is an ideal place to choose a meal in the open-air warm Thai evenings. There is a wide range of foods available and there are tables at which to sit and enjoy. Prices are little above normal Thai markets, but the quality is excellent, and the stall holders are welcoming and helpful. Beer, wine and spirits are available. You buy coupons and use them at any stall.

Not sure what to make of this place? It’s very clean, lots of stalls and plenty of places to eat. I didn’t feel like it was a ‘market’. They had a live band playing, they weren’t bad.
It somewhere to pass an evening if you have nothing better to do

Hi, Its my first time To Thailand and I would like to drive a car from Bangkok to Huahin..
My question is, is it any parking spot provided in Huahin night market , cicada night market or even at huahin beach?
or we just park at sideways?
is it better to drive the car to nightmarket or better using public transportation? I`m afraid night market is very crowded and not accessible by car?
Thank you for the answer

I did see some parking but it is crowded. I would get a room at a hotel near the beach and walk or get a tuk tuk to the market. Much easier!

The Cicada Market is open Friday to Sunday only. It has a different feel to it. Food is varied and better than night market. Live entertainment too at Cicada.
Tamarind market is open Thursday to Sunday and is mainly food.
The Cicada and Night Market are a Tuk tuk ride away and will cost 150 baht.

It is not walking distance (or a loooong walk LOL). It's an easy 5 min tuk tuk ride. We stay at Centara and it's 150 Baht each way. There are plenty of tuk tuks outside Hilton, and likewise outside Cicada. Only operates Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. We always go early, and usually on Sunday.
