Beautiful clean area, the promenade is a fantastic flat walk with lots of seats to rest etc, it’s a long walk and the view is beautiful

Great surf, clean white sand, stunning sunsets...things don't get much better than this! The water is chilly but always worth a swim.

It wasn't the best of days when we visited - dull, misty and cool but there were still some patrons on the beach. It is quite a sharp downhill winding drive to the smallish car park which is efficiently manned by car guards.

A nice, wide sandy beach overlooked by really lovely large houses on the hillside at one end and the mountain backdrop behind the beach. There isn't a cafe but I think a new toilet block has been built recently.

Worth a visit but I believe the car park quickly fills up at the weekend.

Only (-) point is that parking can be difficult on a nice day. Short down hill walk to the beach which is overlooked by the huge houses that make up this expensive residential area.

Lovely little beach; undisturbed with not a lot around when it comes to shops/restaurants which was a pleasant surprise. We went on a very windy day, and got sand blasted walking along the beach - which was actually quite fun! There is parking available close by but I’d imagine it would get full very quickly on a sunnier, brighter day. The water is freezing cold, so only the brave will dip their bodies in! The view from the top is beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Visited here while driving along the coast near Cape Town and soon realised its very popular with the locals. Nice sandy beach with stunning views wherever you look. Water very cold though as its on the Atlantic Ocean side and there are no restaurants but a few locals are selling drinks etc. Worth a visit.

Very nice beach. White sand, blue but very cold water. There are no restaurants, so bring a picknick. There are friendly guys selling soda's, water, umbrellas and sunbeds.
You can definitely surf at this beach. If you want a parking spot for your car close to the beach, you need to go early. Or you can take an Uber (15min from Camps Bay, 10 min from Hout Bay).

For sure one of my favorite beaches in Cape Town! Great for surfers, sunset and a walk with the dogs. Beautiful and less touristic than Camps Bay. Highly recommend!

Windy on the wrong day but stunningly beautiful beach with no businesses. Very undisturbed and incredibly beautiful. Water is a good 3 degrees colder than Clifton, I'm sure of it but its worth it for the comparative peace
