On a visit to Llandudno our guide could not pronounce it nor know where the name originated ...From Wales. The town is prettier than its namesake

Cape Town is blessed with many really special beaches, Llandudno is easily in the top 5. I often bring my guests on sunset photography tours to this location. It has the whitest sand, clear blue ocean, clean granite boulders and groups of boulders to explore...More

Llandudno is the prettiest beach in Cape Town....the rock formation takes your breath away....the sunsets are different every night. You feel relaxed as it is a family beach.....young beach....but no matter how you look you feel comfortable sitting on this beautiful beach!

I visited on a Monday lunch time towards the end of March and it was predictably fairly quiet. Not a user friendly road to get to the beach, - steep, windy with monotonously regular road humps and an unusual number of ADT security vehicles. Do...More

The setting below the rugged cliffs and luxurious houses is fabulous. Quite a journey down along a winding road and not much available parking when you get there.. To climb up the huge granite rocks and watch the massive waves crashing down is awe inspiring....More

We were recommended this beach and parked with ease. The beach is beautiful, this was spoilt by groups of dogs running wild and messing on the beach - there were no apparent owners with them to clear up and control their pets who frequently were...More
