The house has been wonderfully dressed for Christmas with trees galore. An added attraction is the murder hunt along Cludo lines.
Guess who did the dasterdly crime and with what.
Great fun for all.Timed tickets and booking is advisable though some tickets may be available on...More
We didn't visit the house so I can't comment on that. The gardens are beautiful and there is a nice walk around a field to work up an appetite for a treat from the cafe. My son and daughter enjoyed their black forest cake and...More
Met family there. Glorious day the sun was out and warm. Lovely pieces of furniture. Staff welcoming and friendly. Garden was pretty as some flowers were still in bloom. The only disappointment was the toilets were a portacabin . Plus the first floor of the...More
after strolling around the gardens and talking to some very informative guides, we were a little disappointed with the house, which is quite small and only open on the ground floor. but a pleasant stop off on our way to other places

Not a very big place but good to stop and see the house, a car park if you have one and a short walk to the house as usual pictures yes but no flash, and there is the usual cafe there as well
