Thank you very much for taking the time to review your time at Ness Gardens. It was unfortunate that the rain meant the wedding had to be indoors, however the function room was set up beautifully and the bride and groom took the change of...More

I have visited the garden in the past but it was much bigger than I remember and laid out much better. The garden was beautiful to walk round, and there were plenty of benches and deck chairs around should you wish to sit and admire...More

Thank you very much for writing such a lovely review. The rock gardens are looking beautiful at the moment; perfect for the wedding ceremonies we have had over the summer. We are glad you had such a wonderful visit and will visit again soon.

I must admit it has been some time since I last ventured here. I fondly remember the well manicured plant beds and rockeries, intermingled with beautiful ponds and streams. I also remember walking through tunnels of bamboo and looking at exotic species of plants each...More

We had lovely sunshine to enjoy the plants, damselflies, dragonflies, bees and some butterflies. Some of the plants were suffering a bit from the drought, but most were fine. The café served some toothsome refreshments.

The gardens seemed neglected. I know it has been difficult this summer due to high temperatures and lack of rain but beds were full of weeds and planting was not very interesting. It is worth visiting for the views across the estuary.More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your visit to Ness. Unfortunately, as many gardeners will agree, our gardens have suffered due to the hot weather we have experienced this summer. So we are very pleased with the much needed rain...More

Very reasonable price to learn about plants, ecology etc. Take in the views of the Dee estuary and stunning botanical specimens. Unfortunately we were in-between big flowering seasons but still enough to satisfy the eye and nose. One thing the place does need is sensory...More

What a nice visit! The gardens were looking good, despite the hot and dry weather. (The Herbaceous Lawn is the one area that is suffering; and is in any event partly under renovation). There are lovely walks, including some shady areas, plenty of seats so...More
