These are not the most unusual or attractive of woodlands, but the walks through them are enjoyable.

This area was included in an EEC environmental study in the nineties and proved to have the cleanest air in Europe. The castle overlooking the river is quite picturesque and the nearby woods offer pleasant walks. Further south beyond the woods stands the Nagle Mountains....More
