This was a last minute stop for us on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. I was not prepared for the amazing beauty of this spot!

This has to be the most unique place to visit in the county. Beautiful rock formations that have to be seen to believed. Easy access to see these and easily accessible car parking.

We happened on the Bridges of Ross when our guide suggested that it was a spectacular view on the Loop Head Drive and it was. A bit of a walk, but well worth it especially on a blustery sunny day. There was no one else...More

This was another location we were lucky enough to have to ourselves. The area itself starts with some nicer views but you need to make the walk to reach the gorgeous ones. I think it took us a good half hour of walking on a...More

The Bridges of Ross was one of the most beautiful places in Ireland. It was magical. Only two other people were walking as we walked against the strong wind overlooking the amazing ocean crashing against the rocks that create the cliffs. The water sprays upwards...More

Ok, let's get something straight: although this is called "Bridges" of Ross, there is, in fact, only one of three original natural bridges left....the other two were swept away in the 19th century. That said, the remaining bridge is not the only amazing thing to...More

This is a must visit if you are anywhere near the Loop Head peninsula. From the car park it is an easy walk on a well defined path near the cliff edge. All the rock formations are amazing. There is now only one bridge left...More

If you head for the loophead lighthouse, you will see signs pointing to the Bridges of Ross, it did not not come up on my sat nav, and so ended up entering GPS coordinates from Google Maps. Fabulous place to visit, was a bit off...More

It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the parking lot on a dirt path. The path is clearly marked and not close enough to the edge to be a falling threat. The only worry you will have is the occasional massive piles of cow... More
