we enjoyed this better than cliffs of moher due to overpriced parking and congestion there. kilkee is approachable, beautiful and such a nice walk along ireland's signature coast. a must when visiting the western shores.

I recommend timing your visit for low tide to explore the tidal pools then either launch up the hill for the long climb or have a designated driver let you off about a mile away to walk back down. Also the coastal road is great...More

The stunning stretch of cliff road is well worth the walk...or drive. Totally desrted. Then we had lunch in Kilrush at Crottys Bar. Delicious food and fun staff.
