Traditionally I go to Ireland in the winter and when I go I always take a drive along Loop Head Drive and my mid-point of that drive is ALWAYS The Lighthouse Inn Restaurant. I sit at the bar but the restaurant is comfortable, clean and...More

You will get to go round the original lighthouse keepers cottage, I understand it is available to rent as a holiday let as well. Entrance was 5 Euros (when we visited), for this you also get to go up the lighthouse on a guided tour...More

I love lighthouses and always try to visit one if I'm staying nearby. This one was interesting and the views wonderful but the 'shop' is definitely lacking and the tour lack-lustre

A €5 well spent. Very knowledgeable guides that tell you about the lighthouse and the history of the place and how it links to local life in the area. Fabulous views from the top

We chose not to enter the lighthouse. It just didn’t seem worth five Euros, so we wandered around the area instead. There is some truly amazing scenery here, and all along the Loop Head part of the Wild Atlantic Way.

A great way to spend half a day. Beautiful views, easy to walk around. Great floral variety and lots of birds. The cliff sights are outstanding. Not very crowded. Easy to park and walk the area. Tours of the lighthouse are available, but we have...More

We drove all the way to the lighthouse, but it was closed for visitors and we decided to view the cliff views from the ground outside. A lovely drive though.
