What I like about visiting this dolmen is that there is a bit of adventure involved. No ticket office needed, just the opportunity to jump a fence and walk. Be sure to go to the field behind the cemetery, either side has an access though...More

We were really keen to see this Dolmen, but in the end our visit was curtailed by an aggressive donkey in the same field. The Dolmen is currently free but I would happy to pay for a less "interactive" experience with the local wildlife.

Park at the Dolmen center and up the path through the yard with the gate. There are steps up and over the two or three livestock gates you need to go through.

amazing site - very much worth seeing. If you can't find it, ask for directions at the Dolmen center - getting there involves walking through some private livestock fields.

It was pretty damp on the day we visited, but I loved climbing over the stiles and chatting to the donkeys along the way. Bring proper waterproof boots for sure - it's boggy and there's manure on the path.

Both the dolmen and the visitors centre and worth a trip. Walk up to the dolmen, trainers or wellies needed, and relax. Imagine the scene 4000 years ago and all the people who have stood where you stand now. Then have a sandwich and cup...More

A little difficult to find, but just ask at the center. It's a long hike in thru farmland which would be impossible for wheelchair. Only this one Dolmen there but worth the trek in. Read up on the history of this dolmen if you don't...More
