Howth is beautiful and the Waterside walk is flat, short and an easy leisurely stroll, would have liked to have had more time but on a bus tour there is only so much time accorded. There is an abundance of restaurants and a few shops...More

A beautiful place for a stroll. The sunset here is out of this world. Watch the sea lions jump out of the water and the smell Of the ocean is incredible. Loads of little shops and restaurants and pubs. Watch as the fishing boats come...More

We went on a family drive to Howth where we walked and planned on lunching (in a place that would cater for a baby) My partner and I fancied steak sandwiches and we happened upon Waterside. They had just that on their menu. It was...More

Howth is a thirty minute train ride from Dublin--an easy day trip. No need for a car, with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance of station. We took a boat ride out to Ireland's Eye.

Howth has to be my favourite spot in Dublin. It is a quaint fishing village with restaurants and pubs all around. We always visit the Waterside when we go to Howth for it's great food, convenient location and of course either a Guinness or a...More

I visited this place in February along with my colleagues during a nice sunny weekend. Its hardly a 30-40 mins ride by bus/train from Dublin. The village itself is pretty beautiful with good places to eat. One can also have a nice walk along the...More
