Called in in search of local tourist information but sadly, despite it being the height of the tourist season, found it closed. Luckily the craft shop just across the street came up trumps with a rack full of local freebie leaflets

Nice young lady gave us good information and leaflets unfortunately only open certain days and times - guess we struck lucky

Despite it being 11.30am on a mid July day and opening times posted on the door stating the opening hours were 10.30am to 3.30pm - the tourist office was shut!
