Called in a couple of times during our stay in Kinsale they show live sports in the day and had a band in the evening. It wasn’t a noisy live sports bar which was welcome as my partner wanted to watch but I read the...More

I was with the below reviewer at the time of his visit. Seems to have mixed Oscar's up with The Armada. And his review was aimed at the latter. Oscar's is a grand spot for a few pints. Nice atmosphere and interesting collection of obscure...More

We walked into a near empty bar on a Friday night. We were greeted with a wry smile from the barman, who could only be thinking, "get out". We got our drinks and thought we might have a game of pool. There had been a...More

Named after one of the sport writer character in The Odd Couple, it's a sports bar where we watched the 6 nations rugby. There was a good atmosphere in the place. We had a great afternoon. The toilets need to attention though

Popped in for a glass of red and a Guinness. Very quaint, was in January so Christmas decorations still up, really pretty. A few men in the bar, but friendly barman, nice wine, nice Guinness , nice place to have a slow afternoon bevy.

Good place for a Pint... wouldnt eat there, and the Gents/Toilets/Washrooms/Restrooms are awful... you actually have to walk outside to use the facilities..

We popped in here on Saturday afternoon for a pint. It was busy enough, but that was due to the football being on. Personally it's not my kind of bar, but there's nothing wrong with it. It's more of a sports bar, it lacks any...More

We visited this pub on a Saturday night, the live band they had were brilliant however this was the only positive. To start we were sticking to floor around the bar area as we moved. Service was slow. At 12.25 we were told the bar...More

Great little country pub. Had good simple food but the beer was cold and plenty available. Quaint little pub in seaside village with plenty of atmosphere and friendly local clientele
