We were very fortunate to have had a beautiful sunny morning the day we visited. It's free to visit, although donations are welcome. The sanctuary is located out in the countryside, and it's a fabulous place for these donkeys to get their second chance. Our...More

What a fun way to spend the afternoon. Being from boston who knew we would spend the whole afternoon watching them and then adopting one. It was awesome. As the driver over there it was easy to find and park.

A little hard to find but well worth. About 50 donkeys in several paddocks makes this a must visit. Such beautiful animals. We visited while it was raining so most animals were in their sheds but a few were out saying hello. Bring boots or...More

I love animal sanctuary’s anyway and the Donkey sanctuary hit a chord as they are such inoffensive creatures. Whoever heard of a donkey opening fire in an American school so One had to assume they are more intelligent than a lot of humans. Seriously though,...More

How can you not love donkeys? We spent the morning at the sanctuary and spoke with 2 of the people working there. I was blown away by how nice the facility was and how wonderful the service they provide.

I have visited the donkey sanctuary on a few occasions. They do great work and are very dedicated to their mission. It's well worthwhile going and you are doing your bit for society by doing so.

Hi, it's 29km if you go through Mallow and turn left for Liscarroll at the Hospital. When you come into Liscarroll turn right and it's about 400 from the village centre.
