okay, it's not big, but it affords a panoramic view of this beautiful bay. The business end of the marina is separate to the tourist end, but it was interesting to watch the boats land their catch and then watch the world go by ...

Yes, it's touristy but actually its too small a place to get too touristy. The heart of the town is down on the harbour, a working harbour still and yes, working does mean tourist boats to see the dolphin. But, my leftist friends, out here...More

This is like the Disneyland of Ireland. Jam packed with tourists everywhere. Crowded, overly pricey and just plain boring. Shoppes are full of cheap souvenirs. Inflatable shamrock anyone? It's good for a few nice pictures but then move on.

You may thinking ... really? a dolphin trip? We went out on a pretty cold, windy day and would not have missed it for the world. Beautiful view of harbor and cliffs. And seeing Fungie was great fun.

Grab a sit-down on the stone wall and enjoy some fish and chips from the take-away places. Even without a boat, this marina was fun. Great parking and some very interesting tentacle sculptures at the entrances.

I suppose some people go to Dingle just to see the marina, but, for the most part it's really just the icing on the cake in an area that's nothing short of charming. You'll not see fancy yachts, giant ferries, or cruise ships...it's simply not...More
