Went to Judy Woods late in autumn assuming that the colour would have faded so didn't take a camera. It was so stunning I had to go back the next day with my camera. Wonderful place for walking around and enjoying the trees and nature.

Lovely place but horrific for dog poo every where. It's a shame dog owners don't pick up their dogs mess. Disgusting and can cause illness especially to young children. The dog mess does put a massive downer on the place, it's everywhere.

Can park right by the entrance on the road ( just watch for parking restrictions) great walk for families and dogs. Dirt tracks which I guess may get muddy. All the ground cover has gone really. The bins were overflowing with poo bags so that...More

Visited today with my 3 year old son, brilliant couple of hours spent in the woods. Very muddy, and happy when we left. Free parking as well which is great for a cheap few hours out.

Great little place for the dog and kids. Lots of fallen trees to climb and play on. Whilst we didn't venture on to the further paths out of the woods, We could only see one litter bin (at the entrance) for rubbish/dog waste.

We live not far from the woods so dog walk there regularly ' it's a beautiful tranquil place and is lovely on a hot day as it is really cool in there. Lots of squirrels for the dog to chase up trees! Worth a visit

The paths are well defined unless you go off "the beaten track" but that's half the fun. Signposts and points of interest dotted throughout the woods.

Great place to take the dogs, however very muddy due to the recent weather. Make sure you wear boots as you will get muddy. Only down side is that there are no dog poo bins around the paths. This leads to inconsiderate dog owners either...More

I like it because it's very peaceful, really allows you to get lost in the feeling of being part of something else.
