the railway is signposted, it does seems like you may have taken a wrong turn but keep following the signs. The platform is spotless and has lots of items to look at whilst you wait for the train also a cafe for drinks and snacks....More

We had a nice time. We boarded the train at Rowsley, and travelled to Matlock. Walked round the town then returned.
Stand very friendly, and the trains were very comfortable.

What a great experience! Two whole hours of uninterrupted hands on experience. Each of the workings of the loco were explained, and shown up close, and then hands on driving up and down the line and in and around various sidings.
