Fantastic park! So much open space, free parking, cafe - what more could you want!! Lots of different pathways, leads you down to a small lake at the bottom. Stunning

Very clean park with plenty to explore. Can walk to Linacre from this park. Even a designated area fenced off for dogs that might run off to be exercised

Staying for a couple of days in Chesterfield, this park was just right for morning run, with lovely Countryside trails, lake, wildlife.

There is currently a Staffordshire bull terrier running amok in the park. It has recently attacked and injured a horse, as wellas a chap walking his Great Dane after it had attacked the dog. The Council are well aware of this dog (and others that are out of control) but do nothing to rectify the situation.

After a walk around the lake we took the gently ascending path by the little stream surrounded by the changing colours of all the different trees. Plenty of spaces in the car park, the toilets were well maintained and takeaway food and drinks were available at the cafe.

Found this place whilst searching for places to visit. Free to visit and was a lovely little walk. The lake was beautiful and there were some little forest areas to walk alongside the stream. Little cafe by the car park which provides food and drink.

Reasonably well-preserved area in between Developments. Not like the old days of Streams and open Fields with not a building in sight. At least it still retains a feel of the Country.
