You can tell it must have been a wonderful place at one time but now totally run down and overgrown. Might be free but the only good thing about the place was the cafe.

For 2 years now they've tried to make a go of it despite being blocked at every turn when trying to expand/improve. The owners are a charity funded group called Enable.. who leased the tea rooms and polytunnels out to the current manager and his...More

Called her a number of times. Not a big place, but with outdoor as well, fine. Watch your footing in the car park. Served quickly, some unusual cakes (eg. lavender scones & lavender cake.) compared to main stream coffee shops, and they all taste great,....More

Cannot comment on the actual herb garden as we only called for tea and cakes. It is a very small tea room and if you have got several people in there talking loudly along with crockery being clashed together the noise is a little overpowering....More

I knew the couple who originally began this garden from a tray at the side of the road. They would be appalled if they could see it now. We went a few weeks ago and the gardens were unkempt and suffering from a lack of...More

We called in on Sunday afternoon while we were in the area and are very glad that we did. Lovely friendly people, proper tea and lovely children's meals. Our girls (6 and 2) loved being able to play on the grass while we finished our...More
