A favourite place. Have been visiting annually for 15 consecutive years. Always learn something new. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for all ages. Started visiting when the kids were tiny and visited this time alone, so suitable for families, couples and singles. The extra tours...More

So much to see, such a beautiful house. The people that work there are very knowledgeable and mostly helpful. I really enjoyed looking around.

If you like historical buildings, this house is a must to see - the ceilings are 30ft high and each room is so different and grandeur; you get neck ache looking up at the most beautiful ornate ceilings!!

We bought a ticket to see the house and grounds. The house is packed with interesting art and family history. It’s the ceilings I remember most. So don’t forget to look up as well as round.
