Spent the day at stourhead, visiting the house and the gardens. It was grey and raining, but when we entered the house it was beautifully decorated with many Christmas trees. The atmosphere was beautiful and made me feel all fuzzy inside :)

We were only able to view the ground floor of the house, which was most informative and the walk around the lake in the grounds was absolutely lovely

No, you just have to find the ticketing machine, scan your NT membership card and it prints a free ticket that you then display on your dashboard.
