Such a beautiful beach! We could’ve spent the whole day here. The sand dunes behind the beach kept our children entertained. Friendly people at the national trust desk too.

This beach is over 1 mile in length and is very amenable for walks and you can take your car on to it. It runs alongside Portstewart Golf Club.

Would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to go and visit the Strand Beach. Very well kept beach and ideal place to take the kids or dog!

Spectacularly long beach that you can drive on to after paying the £6 National Trust fee. It is also a wide beach allowing for rows of cars. Very popular with families. Lifeguards are present. Not commercialised so bring a picnic.
