Very interesting small museum showing the history of the roman occupation in this area, lots of interactive exhibit so would be good for children especially if they are studying the Romans at school.

This is only a small museum, but as a free outing I can't fault it. There are some really interesting artefacts and the place is well maintained.

Basically a small room off the civic centre, run by a retiree with a lot of local knowledge, great to spend 30-40 minutes on a wet afternoon. Good for kids with a dress up section.
