The knights looked very different for Christmas 2017. Someone had yarn-bombed them, adding red and white woolly Santa Claus hats to all three of them. They looked very jolly. Messing in any permanent way with someone else's art is a sin, but yarn-bombing is fine,...More

Interesting metal sculpture adjacent to Marine Gardens. Easily viewed from a passing car, however, it is best seen up close to fully appreciate the intricate work.

Great wee assets to the town. Touristy type knights. Kids love them and loved having their pictures taken with the steel knights

Very Lifelike Sculpture of The Knights - although as they are some way from the Castle have obviously escaped. Perhaps they should have been situated on the Green outside the Castle?

Had just been to the Castle and after walking down the promenade, you will come across these characters across the road. Make a great photo shoot and if you have any young knights in the family they will love it

Statues in totally unusual place. Should be closer to castle. Nothing to attract you to them. Nice enough statues, also with pokestop for kids...lol

Situated at the far end of the Marine Gardens. Nice addition to the town and contributing to the history of Carrickfergus.

Someone went to the trouble to commission this piece, which is very well done and looks great. Then placed it on the outside of a traffic junction across a busy dual carriageway with no traffic barriers to protect anyone viewing it from the danger of...More

These silver painted sculptures are at the far end of the marine highway, about 10 minute walk from Carrickfergus castle. They are very interesting sculptures, I think they are worth a quick look, but I would not go out of my way.

These are very good statues, very modern looking type things from a bygone age. Great for a town with a castle and walls, we have so much history around here.
