We did the circuit. A dramatic landscape, not arduous, interesting derelict buildings along the way, lots of heather, birdlife. Like how they have constructed wooden seats at various points along the route. Loved it.

A fantastic reservoir for sailing and home of Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club. A great place to learn to sail or windsurf.

Visited one Sunday morning before visiting the Craven Arms and New Inn at Appletreewick. Big car park with toilets. Did the 4.5 mile walk clockwise (leaving the car park the way you come in and walking along the dam/barrier), though it may be better to...More

Visited this place with my wife and 2 dogs after a friend recommended it. The place has free parking and it's a lovely 4.5 miles walk round the reservoir, which has some stunning views and lots of wildlife. Most of the circuit has a pathway,...More

Took the dogs ( 2 very energetic working cocker spaniels ) for an early morning walk around this extremely picturesque body of water. At 4 1/2 miles it is easy walking - with different views as you walk around The day we went the weather...More

The path is very good but would not like to say that you could get all the way round on your scooter - but definitely from the top path from the car park you could do a good portion of it going anti-clockwise. Hope this is... More
