A great circular walk around the reservoir with a sturdy pathway that isn’t really muddy. Plenty of benches on the way to stop and have a picnic or to admire the view.
Good facilities with a free car park and toilets.

My husband and I brought our 2 month old baby and our dog here for a walk. It is pushchair accessible the whole way round but there are some steep hills and it is bumpy so you will need a decent all terrain pushchair.

We did the circuit. A dramatic landscape, not arduous, interesting derelict buildings along the way, lots of heather, birdlife. Like how they have constructed wooden seats at various points along the route. Loved it.

The path is very good but would not like to say that you could get all the way round on your scooter - but definitely from the top path from the car park you could do a good portion of it going anti-clockwise. Hope this is... More
