Did not go in the castle, far to expensive, rip off . Not affordable considering what s on offer, only small castle, if they reduced the price to say £3.50'people would walk in it , We saw 5 different groups Walk Away !!

We spent a good couple of hours looking round. The maze of rooms was interesting and would be great for younger children. Worth a visit for a couple of hours.

During our visit to Skipton we took in the castle. Very informative and interesting and the views were spectacular across the hills. My favourite attraction was the bit about Jimmy Clitheroe very funny man. Castle is worth a visit.

Very well kept original castle, very helpful staff. You are given a walkaround sheet detailing all the features that the castle has, 2 pages of A4 with plenty of historical detail. Looked like and abandoned film set as there is a 350 year old willow...More

Situated at the top of the main street in Skipton this castle isn't hard to find. It is a great example of the smaller, almost compact, castle so typical of the type that Cromwell knocked about a bit. Not as dramatic perhaps as the Welsh...More
