We had an excellent veggie curry. Staff friendly and decor bright and attractive. The bathroom was very clean. I’m perplexed by some of the comments that the food here is expensive. We noted at the time how reasonable it was. I hope those reviewers never...More

Called in just before closing and had a lovely welcome. Our two children were made a fuss of, the cake was absolutely delicious and tea/coffee was lovely too. Would highly recommend as a cafe (will have to come back to experience the “clay” another time).

Nearly ten pounds for two coffees and two tiny ice cream tubs. Might add that the ice cream tubs were £2.50 each, not even home made, literally taken from the freezer complete with plastic spoon. Gaps in the wooden slats on the table were full...More

On a rainy day in Skipton we took refuge in this cosy café where every wall, door and house utensil bears witness to the potter's enthusiasm. The coffee was excellent, and our lunch platter of charcuterie, bread and cheese preceded by home-made soup, generously portioned....More

Good polite service but coffee was tasteless and luke warm.We were going to have a sandwich till we saw the prices were extortionate, you could get a full meal for the price of a sandwich here.Try and fleece the tourist and you will lose them.More

We were walking by and decided to go in. Loads of things to choose from to paint and lots of colours. I ended up painting a cookie jar and my son painted a mug. It was good fun and relaxing. The girl there explained what...More

Many Thanks for the kind feedback, I loved how you describe the visit as a "great wee family bit of fun". The painting process does take a week as everything is professionally fired with under-glaze paints for a ceramic finish like pottery at home. Obviously...More

I stopped for a coffee and scone on a wet and cold Christmas shopping mission...a delicious gingerbread latte with a big freshly baked scone, and a super warm welcome. Thanks for the extra shopping tips and friendly chat. Happy Christmas!
