The organised tour of Newry Cathedral is excellent. So informative and very interesting. I learned so much about this beautiful building which I never knew before. The guides are excellent and enthusiastic with so much knowledge of the church

As traveling throug small town this cathedral was easy to find and stop for short visit. It really is old (over 100 years) but not the very oldest buildings, well upkeep, still in use, looking like a bit "modern" to be a church.
I love exploring cathedrals, churches, abbeys -- always on the lookout for Harry Clarke stained glass! Although the stained glass here isn't his or his studio's, it's still gorgeous. The architecture, the facade, the carvings -- all beautiful. Worth a visit.
