Rooms full of a large variety of exhibits. Another building features photos of murals painted on the walls of local temples and photos of previous monarchs before Nan became a part of Thailand. The location itself is also attractive, and there is a coffee shop on location.

One of the great joys of traveling around Thailand is discovering privately funded non-profit art galleries, and the Nan Riverside is an absolute gem. Both the gardens and the indoor spaces are delightful, and present you with a wonderful experience of the owner's selection of paintings, sculptures and landscape pieces. When traveling in this part of the country it is well worth a detour, and be sure to set aside an hour or two of your itinerary to soak up the experience of the art here.
There is also a delightful gallery shop, and a cafe that looked great too, though we had already eaten lunch.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely return when we are next in Nan Province

Newly opened exhibition and building compared with my last trip a year ago. I love this place it has new creative life and energy something has not happened for a lot of creative places or people this year! We bought a painting which we love and so it was a memorable visit.
Love the fact there is no dual pricing policy and it is affordable for all!

Nice place next to the river, unfortunately half of the exhibition space was closed when we visited as new paintings were set up. There is also a cafe, a gift shop and many areas just to sit and enjoy the river view (which we could not do as it was raining).

If you love art and nature this beautiful place will soothe your soul. The art is excellent, varied and so interesting and wandering the extensive grounds is like a vacation in itself. The architecture of the many buildings is unusual, creative and textured with many nooks and crannies to discover. This would be a wonderful place for an art retreat or just to spend a day you will not soon forget. Go!

This was a 20 minute drive from Nan city center, well worth the drive, beautiful art space near the river, wonderful grounds, many buildings with different kinds of art, lots of sculptures, painted trees, abstract art, realistic art, drawings and paintings, nice coffee shop and gift shop, well worth the visit if you’re in then province, don’t miss it

Great place to visit to see local artists both past and present. Art is changed every three months. Current Crown Princess on display as well. Enjoy!

A very interesting art space, some great pieces on display, a little way out of Nan, but worth the trouble to see.

This gallery complex is alongside the busy highway linking Nan city and Pua. The grounds are well maintained and attractive, and the gallery itself is home to the provinces most renowned artist, Winit Prabripoo. His style runs to the abstract side of impressionism, which leaves the viewer free to interpret what he/she is seeing. I was impressed with the high quality of his vision and execution-- it is no wonder that you will also find his work on display in Bangkok's Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). All in all, this is well worth an hour or two of your time when visiting the province.

I have passed by this gallery on numerous occasions and was always intrigued. Yesterday I was able to visit and was privileged to meet the artist/owner Ajarn Prabripoo, a truly gentle gentleman who has built this gallery himself and housed many exhibitions. I particularly liked the bronze statues of the late King which were beautifully crafted. The gallery has many quirky objects such as the modern shower faucet attached to ancient wood and the beasts ascending the staircase to the owner's private residence. The lake has a tranquil setting - fed I imagine from the nearby river.. Well worth a visit - entrance fee 20 baht only with a free postcard of recent painting to collect as you leave. You will need your own transport to visit as it is just outside the city limits.
