Great site "hidden" beneath the A1(M). Well presented and full of interesting information. Plenty of stuff for the children to investigate and keep their interest. Free entry for under 16's so great value. Very pleasant people on site. Good parking and toilets on site

Free for under 16s.... worth about an hour or so visit lots to do for kids £3.50 for adults very interesting

Whilst Welwyn Roman Baths are hidden 9 meters beneath the A1(M), junction 6, we never noticed the fact that masses of traffic was passing over our heads. For young children this is a 5* attraction, but for others if probably loses a star. It is...More

I've lived near here for over 10 years and never been but impromptu visit with kids 7 & 10 paid off. Fascinating and a real slice of our history. Amazing guide - so knowledgeable and helpful.

This small attraction is full of information about our Roman ancestors - it has lots to do for children as there is a question and answer sheet for them to complete which keeps them interested. It is well laid out
