The accommodation is amazing and the diving is so cool. Tamara, Stan and Rudi are a great team. We would recommend this to everybody we know.

Dived with them last Saturday. My dive guide was Rudy.

Connected with Tamara the owner over phone and whatsapp. Fluid conversation.

Launching the dive boat itself was an experience because of the waves. But I would say the captain on that day was a skillful operator and tried to push out into the sea between big waves. He managed well.

The seas were choppy and there were huge swells (2 to 2.5 mtrs). I became sea sick. The fact that the shoal is in the middle of the ocean and you had to kit up in the raft like boat, which is already very wobbly because of the conditions, I became very queasy and was almost abandoning the dive.

We were supposed to dive 'The Cathedral' dive site but I was not comfortable going down all the way to 27-28 metres and we decided to stay on the reef at about 14-15 metres. Rudy and the crew were accommodative of my request and another crew member offered to dive with my buddy while Rudy was to be my one on one dive guide.

The conditions underwater were also not very good. Though Viz was 12-15 metres, it was very choppy and the reef had a substantial current. My advice for beginners is to look at the conditions and then take call to dive or not.

Equipment was good and they quickly rustled up a 15 litre tank which was my need.

Its a family run operation and the owners are quite friendly. Tamara was there with hot towels to receive us when we came back after the dive. She also gave me a cup of tea.

Overall decent people dive with.

Brillant experience. Went to join the Sardine Run with Scubaco and had such a good time.
Jamie, Stan, Keagan, Bruce, Tamara (certainly forgot to mention all the other great people), all took care and made sure we had a great time, wonderful snorkel experience, bumpy boat rides, great food (!!!) and all the magic around it. What a week I had, highly recommended.

We would recommend ScubaCo without hesitation to any diver who wants to explore Aliwal Shoal. Their service is world class - warm friendly hospitality, well-stocked dive shop, equipment in excellent condition, and some special touches that I’ve never experienced elsewhere. Special mention must be made of our skipper who was the most skilled we’ve ever seen. We had a great dive with approximately 40 ragged-tooth sharks. Truly memorable!

Excellent dive shop! A very personal and tailored experience visiting the Aliwal Shoal reefs. They provide a knowledgeable and professional divemaster, modern and well-maintained kit. The Skipper even extended our trip back to get a closer view of the humpback whales!

A hot cup of coffee and a muffin before and after the dives were very well received also! Top notch!

Had a great morning dive with D3 Diving which utilizes the Scuba Co diving school's equipment and services. Absolutely awesome and professional service. Great to have warm muffins before the dive and the additional surprising warm towels after finishing the dive. Highly recommend.

We came here when there was a huge flood in this region. Tamara and her fantastic team did what ever was possible in this situation, even they fought with the local government to let us to dive when it was forbidden. It was simply not the time to dive but it was not there fault they did far more than expected to make a miracle. We had a wonderful time on land with them apart from the natural disaster. I am really grateful Tamara for that week, you cheered us, filled us :) and I am sure very soon we will dive together finally. Love: Romeo-Mate

I had the privilege to spend the weekend with Handicapped Scuba Crew @ SubaCo Diving & Travel. Tam and Abby greeted us with warm smiles and a hot cup of coffee. Made us feel like part of the family and life long friends. It felt like coming home. Dean was a kick ass Skipper who always brought us home safe with a big smile on your face. I would honestly recommend them even just for a visit. I am surely going back for more. Most awesome experience.
