This wonderful little village is very walkable with numerous restaurants, shops and delightful people. The Alto Ghivizzano church and fortress high up the hill from town center is amazing. Two hundred people still live within the fortress walls which are honeycombed with lanes, pure water...More

The old town is very picturesque and you could spend a whole day walking the wall, the church, and the museum. Would recommend highly

Very tiny but yet beautiful town in Tuscany. The Ghivizzano castle is beautiful. There are many great restaurants and gelato places.

Transportation links good for exploring local region. Medieval castle and village are off the tourist trail and are waiting to be discovered
