This place is an absolute bore. The aquariums are uninteresting and so is the rest of the place. The only slightly interesting thing was the WR googles. Be aware that this is not an aquarium with a lot of fish but a museum.

We enjoyed our visit here - there was lots to see although my French wasn't up to translating everything! There is a guide on English to provide back ups to the essential facts however. Self-guided museums are always best with kids and this one had...More

The museum is much bigger than one might think at first, and it has a wide range of interesting exhibits about many aspects of ships, fishing, marine pollution and sea creatures. We took our two young grandchildren (1.5 and 3.5 years), and they had a...More

An interesting view of life in a fishing village with some interesting exhibits. Kids will love the aquarium especially the floor level tank where touching is encouraged - and the Rae are very friendly!!

None of the three people on the desk spoke English. Had 2 floors about the city by the sea and had a very little aquarium of fish. €7.50!! We were in and out in about an hour, maybe less!!

We'd missed our train to Rouen so went to the Museum. You are given a guide in English when you first enter which was useful. The first section was a bit dry - about shipbuilding - but there were some hands on exhibits which my...More
