The srisailam dam is worth seeing and it is on the way to srisailam temple. The srisailam dam is the biggest dam in andhra Pradesh and the night attraction with lights is pleasant and worth watching.

This dam comes on the way from Hyd to Srisailam (10 kms before Srisailam) and it is beautiful dam and it must give more scenic views after rain when water comes from its gates. But still it was dam good and stay for some pics

Location of the dam is good with wonderful views and winding roads in front. The best experience would be when the water is being discharged and you can feed the rush of it from the top of the view point.

Nice Place to be Best in Monsoon you will definitely enjoy the breezes and showers once the dam is full and the Gates are open In other seasons it a good place to stop and view on the way to srisailam or your place back

If your coming from Hyderabad to Srisailam then the dam is enroute. You will get a chance to view the dam several times enroute. Another option is to go to patal ganga and take boat ride to dam

it was not open when we went on 5th oct. only Govt authorities can say whether it will be opened or not.
