We took a boat from Barra da Lagoa to Ilha do Campeche. The boat trip itself offered beautiful scenery of the island (see pictures). We ate some incredibly fresh shrimp on the island (though not cheaply!) And then we enjoyed the stunning white sandy beaches...More

Amazing place just minutes by boat from Campeche beach. The island is totally preserved, only few locals live there. On the east side of the island there are pre-historical drawings.

This place is amazing! Sadly on summer it is very hard to get there and expensive. But it was worth the trip. There we did snorkling and hiking. All worth it. ❤

Its never warm enough for bathing there! It is allways very cold, even in high summer. But at the same time, it is all year round a great place to explore!
