Walked here yet again this weekend, just simply breath taking scenery and large views across a significant part of the Peak. This walk along the edges is particularly good as it's accessible by many levels of walker from tiny to old and all be it...More

We were visiting Bakewell, with our family, as part of our Golden Wedding present. On the first afternoon we took them to Curbar Edge as they had never been to the Peak District and we wanted to show them a classic edge that was easy...More

Made it up to the top and had some wonderful views until the weather closed in, well worth the climb up there.

First time visitors. The view is amazing. The wind, we were told, normally blows towards the cliff wall and then straight up, meaning you walk in a wind free zone. Not today: Wind was blowing down the moors and down the cliff: very windy and...More

This is one of the very best locations in Derbyshire. Scenic views, panoramic vistas and an important part of long distance walking e.g. Peak Pilgrimage. Excellent views of Chatsworth. No pain without gain - so steep climbs up. Concerned that paths on the edges show...More

Always great to walk here and extend if you feel fit up to white edge and do the circle. Curbar and Frogatt villages worth a look . Avoid weekends - it's always busy.
