Jardín is a peaceful, picturesque small town in the heart of Colombia's coffee country. The town is quiet (except for the incessant church bell), friendly, and relaxed. There are nearby natural attractions surrounding the town. For those travelers that know Santa Fe de Antioquia, the...More

Beautiful town center. Place to hang around, sit on the bench and relax. Many colorful chairs from the surrounding restaurants. Place to enjoy.

Salento, Filandia... there are many Magic Towns in Colombia's coffee country, but we really feel Jardin takes the cake. It's purely authentic, and the fact that it is a bit hard to get to makes it exceedingly peaceful despite a fairly large local population. The...More

Although we only spent 1 hour at Centro Historico de Jardin (busy traveling day), it was well worth the time spent. Beautiful buildings, great views and delicious street food.

The town has well preserved buildings but also has a great atmosphere. The town square if filled with persons eating at tables and drinking--far more locals than tourists. Often there are horsemen showing off their paso fino horses--seems to be somewhat of a tradition.

I had read a lot about this town talking it up as the idyllic Colombian Pueblo. It didn't disappoint. After 10 days in Bogota and Medellin, this place was a respite from the hustle and bustle and normal precautions to take in a big city....More

I think Jardin is a town everyone goes to Colombia should visit. The colorful houses are photographer’s dream. We stayed at a bed and breakfast nearby, which was run by a Spanish and Colombian and it was fantastic. We were there from the coffee region...More

The entire city of Jardin can be considered a historic center, but the main streets are simply wonderful. The colonial architecture is beautiful, with well-preserved facades, and a lovely, great, peaceful vibe to walk around.

A number of people told me to get to Jardin before it is 'discovered' so off I went. Three hours from Medellin by bus on curvy roads. Well worth the effort! On the weekend this town rocks with Colombians from Medellin filling the plaza. During...More
