Beautiful and serene place to taste a variety of tea produced on site. Visited with my 11 yr old daughter and my sister and her 6 yr old son. Factory and museum are educational and part of the experience. Amazing view. Polite staff. Reasonably priced.

The drive to the gardens is very green but the highlight has to be tea tasting sitting on a verandah overlooking the lake with tea bushes rolling down the slopes. The museum and the factory are disappointing so save your money. It can be bundled...More

The postcard image of Mauritius can often be too one-dimensional with the predictable white sand beaches and blue lagoons. A trip to the central highlands will provide you with fantastic insight of incredible landscape the island has to offer beyond the exotic beaches... We would...More

Lots of options to buy local tea, explore how they make it in the factory, and a chance to see a bit of beautifull Mauritius

Hi there. You do not need to book in advance. I went on a Monday, and there are no specific times for the tour. You go to Bois Cheri Tea factory and go to reception. Pay 200 rupees and then they will send you to the museum... More
