We stopped here while riding bikes and there was a big party going on outside. Lots of folks having a picnic. We walked around the chateau and took some great photos with no people in the pictures. The wedding exhibit was most interesting and not...More

A bit off the beaten path, but deserves more attention. Free parking through the main gate, right in front of the chateau. First square castle ever built, the need for the round walls of defence disappeared. Self guided tour of the outside and guided tour...More

Forget opulence but think more of history, charm and a family home. This is certainly a a forgotten chateau, off the beaten track, and full of character. The staff and tour guides were very welcoming and there are translations available (tour guide was brilliant). It...More

I am so used to seeing the luxurious chateaux of the area and it was interesting to see a home where the owners are striving to restore it. It really showed what a commitment and sacrifice has to be made, very interesting indeed.
