You can't miss the Mangturm as you walk along Lindau harbour. We didn't go inside but did stop to read (and attempt to translate!) the signs. It's a novel sight, especially with Rapunzel's hair dangling from one of the windows! Another landmark to add to...More

at beginning, just know "Lindau" name unintentionally, however, really fall in love promptly when arriving this place, the magnificient stunning beautiful small harbor port and remarkable scenery of Lake was so impressive, worth for visiting place.

Nice views from top, but debatable whether it's worth the walk versus cruising through all the small street and seeing what Lindau has to offer. Loved seeing the "Rapunzel hair" hanging from one of the upper windows. Not sure if that seasonal or permanent.

This is an interesting building/lighthouse dating from the 13th century. It used to be a prominent part of the former city fortifications. It was a bit tacky outside to say the least, with a baloon maker and a juggler on stilts!

Decline to climb the lighthouse - attendant busy fulling on a fag at the entrance - whole thing rather off-putting

Another site next to the Lighthouse and Bavarian Lion Sculpture when in Lindau. You cannot miss it when you are at the sea side.

You can walk along the boats, to the tower. You can enter it. It's not wheelchair accessible. So I didn't see the inside
