We had to visit the Cathedral as we were visiting the Technik Museum Speyer. Once inside we did not like it, it looked modern and clinical with no character to it. We did not stay long we left quite quickly.

The whole of Speyer is lovely to wander round but the cathedral is one of the wonders of that part of Germany. Mainz, Worms and Speyer are all famous for their cathedrals and Speyer's stands out all around the city.

This is a huge imposing atchitectural building outside but inside I did find it rather plain compared to some that we have visited. Free to enter but there is a charge for the crypts below the building. Nice park area outside to sit in.
