The weather was a little dicey, but we went ahead and took the tour. Very well run and clean. Excellent food and drink and the views were spectacular!

We read some reviews before going to Boppard and chose to take an afternoon trip. The views were stunning with castle after castle and it was really relaxing. We had some Riesling and was given a souvenir glass with it to keep which was a lovely touch. It was great on the top deck going towards St Goar but we chose to go downstairs on the way back due to the wind, and still had great views due to the panoramic windows. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Nice return trip down the scenic Rhine valley
The ship sailed past St Goar so we could see the Loreley which was an unexpected bonus! The staff of board were very friendly with a waitress working to ensure everyone had drinks. Great views from the open top deck.

This is the third time we have been on this section of the river, twice on 1 hour cruises and once as part of a European Cruise, travelling from Budapest to Amsterdam.
We never get sick of it as there is so much to see and every cruise we something different. The castles are just amazing.
This cruise was just as good as the others with , a beautiful boat and great service from the staff and of course great german beer.

We waited for a sunny day for this cruise and it was lovely. It’s so relaxing to be on the water and float past one historic village or castle after another. The food was good and came quickly. We had the chicken strips,a wurst, hot chocolate, coup Denmark ( hot fudge sundae - big enough for 2). The interior of the ship was very inviting and comfortable.

Enjoyed a relaxing journey from Saint Goar to Boppard on the Rhine River. Ancient Castles around every corner of the river. Used to control and toll transport of goods on the river. Saw statue of Loreley as well as her fabled rock.

We boarded the boat from Boppard.
We went up to their top deck to take beautiful pictures of medieval castles, vineyard clad hills (some spectacularly steep) and picturesque riverside towns, as we leisurely cruised down the pictorial Rhine river.
If one is afraid of the cold, you can stay on the main deck, which is enclosed and warm.
You can still enjoy beautiful scenery, from the huge windows.
There are washrooms in the bottom deck.
We recommend this idyllic cruise (of around 2 hours), since the views are rather amazing.
They also have a cafe which serves comforting hot food, such as pork schnitzel and fries for around EUR12.
We docked off at St Goar.

We took two trips on the river, the first was from Boppard to Koblenz which took about two hours each way with a four hour stop in Koblenz. Perhaps this was a little to long as it was extremely hot that day, at 37 degrees although we didn’t walk very far from the river and there is only one sailing on a Tuesday. The second cruise was to Sankt Goar and the Loreley rock. This took about an hour and a half. There are several departures every day but we should have taken an earlier one to have more time in Sankt Goar which is a lovely little town.
Would definitely recommend these trips

Does anyone know if reservations are needed for individual passengers to go on one of the daily "panorama" cruises between Boppard-St. Goar? Thanks!

Do you do tours in early October? Do tours go from and return to St Goar? What times do the tours depart and the duration of the tour ? The cost per person ( adult)? Is the boat or part of it, covered?
