Like Paradise!
Sep 2019
Bad Kissingen is an underrated city in Germany. I have been coming here since I was a child and love strolling the parks and downtown area. The Kurgarten is very relaxing, reminds me of a tropical paradise in the summer months. You can sit outside at a cafe here, or just sit on a bench to relax and watch others. There are times when events are held here. The park itself is clean and well maintained. I like to just come to the Kurgarten to relax and take my time.

Perfect Day!
Oct 2018 • Family
Our family decided to explore Kurgarten, not intending to spend all day! After a hearty
breakfast at Hotel Kaiserhof Victoria, we
took off to burn calories and let the children
run and play!

There were helpful descriptions of trees, wildlife, and beautiful flower gardens.
The Promenade area had sculptures and
fountains. Again, the overwhelming aroma of flowering plants made my son think the ladies
had on too much perfume! The beauty
captivated all senses, even for a Major in the
U. S. Army!

The children played for hours in the Weeping
Willows, and the adults lounged in the recliners around the Nature Park!

As we returned, a concert was playing in the outdoor amphitheater, and we stopped and enjoyed the symphony!

The musicians were very good!

Lovely Park for Walking or Jogging
Dec 2017 • Solo
This is a lovely park near the river in this old spa town. There are many different types of trees and plants, and most are labelled (explaining leaves and fruits/nuts). Many features; a garden of sound, a labyrinth, “Kneipp” wading pool. Beautifully kept and clean. Nice way to spend a day.

Spa Garden in small country town
Oct 2017 • Couples
This town has been applying to the World Heritage List of UNESCO, among other mid / south european spa & wellness places. These public owned and historical (like monument) buildings are free to visit and also Tourist Info is located there. Most of visitors seemed just like to walk & sit down and take their own time. But there are also many activities arranged almost every day, some like concert, musician players, gathering together all happening in "guten ordnung". During our short visit just in warm sunny daylight time (+25C) it was like "time has been stopped" only historical buildings seen in surroundings,,,, and centre of Old Town. If happen to visit in these areas this town is worth to stop.

Great Place to Watch Older People
Mar 2017 • Couples
The garden features grass, trees, bushes, flowers, gravel walkways and lots of benches. There are often brass band concerts that can be heard free of charge, but from a distance.

So relaxing!
Aug 2015 • Friends
A beautiful place to come, sit, relax, watch the locals and in the afternoon listen to wonderful concerts that are right there. Sometimes outside, if too cold inside. And if you are tired of the garden, there is a wonderful cafe there as well, with view over the garden and delicious cakes to choose from! Not to be missed.

Wonderful Park to Enjoy with the Family
May 2015 • Family
Walk the well maintained pathways, visit the Wandelhalle, drink some of the waters, enjoy a concert, play tennis, visit a small cafe and do some window shopping. You can do it all here with no stress surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, the Saale river, cafes and many benches to just relax on and enjoy. There is a large playground area for children of all ages near the Tennis Club. Walk along the river on one side and come back on the other. It is beautiful!

This beautiful garden is in the front of the main buildings like Arkadenbau, Wandelhalle. Full of flowers, fountains, statue, banks. Every day there are two times concerts by the Kurorchester.
